The paper assessed social media obsession and associated deviant behaviour among youths in contemporary Nigerian society. Four research questions and corresponding hypotheses were answered and tested in the study. Survey research design was adopted in the study while the population comprised youths in Yenagoa Local Government Area out of which 383 youths were sampled using convenience sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was a 15- item questionnaire titled “Social Media Obsession and Deviant Behaviour among Youths Questionnaire”.

Inclusive education is not a marginal issue, but is central to the achievement of quality education for all learners and the development of more inclusive societies. Thus, the common saying within the global inclusive education movement "if we learn together, we learn to live together". Hence, the study investigated the factors that cause mental retardation and the needs for counselling. The roles of parents, teachers and counsellors in managing the mentally retarded were examined. The study used a descriptive survey.

Education is fundamental human right and it is essential instrument in realising one’s potentials. A key aim of education is to give all citizens the necessary skills and values to improve their quality of life. The primary school education is the foundation laying process that provides the child with the necessary environment and stimulus for learning how to acquire the knowledge of what he needs to cope with life, in proportion with his age, ability and aptitude, in his environment so that he can live a meaningful and useful life in the community.
