The effectiveness of a library as a facility for education is determined by the success to which the library is able to provide and satisfy users’ information need. This study is based on the use of electronic library in the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti. The purpose of the study is to identify the facilities available, reasons why the students use e-library, how often are its uses and the challenges the students encountered in the course of accessing e-library. The research design for the study is a descriptive survey. Four research questions guided the study.

The study investigated the effects of laboratory work and field work practical teaching strategies on academic achievement of senior secondary school biology students. It also investigated the effects of attitude and gender on the measure outcome. A quasi-experiment pre-test post-test control group design was adopted in which treatment (at four levels) was crossed with attitude (at two levels) and gender (at two levels). Sample consisted of 146 SS2 biology (86 males and 60 females) drawn from four intact classes randomly selected from four senior secondary schools.

The Gown refers to the world of learning or the Academia which is an institution that equips graduates for employment or self-reliance in the labour market. The Town on the other hand refers to the world of works or Industry where graduates are expected to secure employment to earn a living and monetary capacity to improve their standard of living.

Tourism is said to be one of the world’s fastest growing industry. It generates about 10% of the world’s total employment, and has become one of the major sources of foreign exchange earnings for countries whose tourism potentials have been fully developed. The Tourism industry has advantage over other industries because it is consumed at the point of production so that it directly affects the community.

This study investigated the role of recreational facilities in Early Childhood Language development. To achieve this, thirty teachers which comprised twentytwo Nigeria Certificate in Education (N.C.E.), and eight Degree holders in Early Childhood Education were drawn from five purposively sampled schools from Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State. The study adopted the descriptive survey design where four research questions were answered and one hypothesis was tested at 0.05 level of significance.

The study examined the availability of instructional materials, how students show interest in learning their lessons using instructional materials and how the use of instructional materials has affected classroom management of students in senior secondary schools. Survey research design was employed. A total number of 384 public secondary school teachers was selected using simple random sampling technique. The study tested three hypotheses and provided answers to three research questions. The research instrument used was researcher-made questionnaire.

The study investigated the perception of students on the effect of Teaching and Learning Resources such as Libraries, Laboratories, and School Farms on their academic performance in Agricultural Science in Otukpo Metropolis of Benue State. The study adopted the descriptive survey research design. The Sample comprises 40 students each from 10 recognized secondary schools from a population of 875 students. Random sampling technique was used to select two hundred (200) male and two hundred (200) female respondents delimited to SS-3 students.

The study examined the nature of classroom assessment practice of secondary school teachers and how this could sustain national development. A survey research was carried out on senior secondary three class (SS3) students in Southwest Nigeria. Two senior secondary schools were selected from schools in each of the six state capitals in Southwest and 50 SS3 students were selected from each of the selected schools through simple random sampling technique. Total student sample used was 600. Three research questions were answered and one hypothesis was tested at P<0.05.

The paper investigates stakeholders’ perception on some critical issues in Open and Distance Learning institutions (ODL) in Nigeria. It also seeks to clarify whether there is any significant difference in stakeholders’ perception between staff of dual-mode and unimodal institutions. The scope covers institutions in Nigeria that operate dual-mode instructional delivery where regular face-to-face university instructional system co-exists with online delivery mode, and unimode institution.

The study investigated the Psychometric effect of multiple choice response item options on secondary school students’ Performance in Economics Test. The population for this study consists of all senior secondary school students in Itu L.G.A of Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria. 3x3x2 Schematic type of Quasi-experimental design was used for this study. A sample of three hundred (300) students from Six Senior Secondary Schools was selected through a simple random sampling technique.
